Ca final nov 11-query regarding verification

I have appeared in CA final nov 11 attempt. and scored 32 marks in ISCA

but in certified copy i have been alloted only 26 marks

I have come to know that institute has the right to increase or decrease the marks of all candidates

in order to regulate the passing percentage of student.

I have also found that some other students also have difference of such 6 marks in their answer sheet too.

Moreover one more discrepancy in my booklet is that one question is marked but marks of which are not added in the total (12 marks are been alloted in that question)

I m really confused now that in verification whether my total will be 26+12=38 i.e fail or 26+6+12=44 i.e pass

If any one has some information regarding this , please share the same as due to all this i m not been able to concentrate on next attempt.

Hey ve u applied for verification.......? I ve got 34 in ISCA but ve not received my certified copy yet but my marks has not been changed under verification.

yes i have applied for the verification but result yet not declared.whenever u receive ur certified copy do check and inform whether there is 6 marks difference or not..

I have applied verificatiob for Audit (Final Gr-1) . I have got 36 in it.

I didn't apply for certified copy.

hii... i applied for reverification for FR & SFM but didnt get thruogh not received certified copie to.. need 8mrks in grp1...

Hii Veenu,

Its quite strange that ICAI has alloted marks like that, I have also applied for verification on 19th of Jan'12 but till now i have not got the result and i scored 199 in agg and subject wise got cost 49, Isca 32, DT 58 and IDT 60 and hence i applied for verfication for isca and dt, and as far as increase or decrease of marks of candidate is concerned for inflating or deflating the pass percentage i don't think that is done by icai. but anyway please update your verfication result as soon as it comes.
