I am preparing for my CA final Exams to be held in May 2012. I have a query from this forum regarding the Paper 3 Auditing and Professional Ethics. I need to know how thoroughly should i study the SAs and Guidance Notes on Auditing to clear the exam. and what should be startegy to prepare for SAs if thorough study is important.

See in case of Auditing you should first prepair Professional Ethics as 1st Question is of 20mks on this.
You should fully aware of the Schedules & Clause no. as you have to quote it in exam.
In case of SA's you will have to quote SA no & Heading where it is required.
Now a days direct questions on SA is not carrying much marks so ICAI is expecting we should quote SA no with heading in Practical questions; it will help you to secure more marks in exam.
SA's & AS & professional ethics are the important part of Audit paper.
