CA+CFA

I JOINED THE CA COURSE IN 2008 TO GRAB HOLD ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING SINCE MY MAIN AIM IS TO WORK AS A STOCK ANALYST OR PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT.

CFA WILL BE STARTED ONCE MY GRADUATION IS COMPLETE.

1. IS THE CASE BETWEEN ICAI AND ICFAI REGARDING THE WORD(CHARTERED) STILL OPEN?

WHAT ARE THE DEVELOPMENTS IN THAT CASE...?

2. CAN CA STUDENTS NOW PURSUE CFA AS EARLIER IT WASNT ALLLOWED?

3. DOES DOING CFA AFTER CA PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO PAY PACKAGE?

Hello Sidharth,

Yes thet case has been resolved and you can go for the CFA from ICFAI.

But if you really wanted to go for the stock analyst or portfolio management kind of role than I would suggest you to go for CFA from US rather than ICFAI.

Thankyou.

thanks for your reply Mr. Rajat

so you want to say that Indian firms prefer portfolio managers with international exposure?
