Books for ca final costing

Sanjay Aggarrwal 's book is not self study book....its really not a right choice...

PC tulsian is really good one...

Ok. & if one is taking coaching from Sanjay Aggarwal, then which book should be referred?

His notes obviuosly...he s conidered to be best in costing concepts...but for OR there are lectures on youtube of IIT madras...refer them...

yet u can refer pc tulsian as reference book.....

for costing no books will help untill we wont understand concepts underlying in each chapter. so refer any book which contains theory concepts on every practical problem.........only sums solving wont help.

In youtube type IIT G.srinivasan ,u will get all his lecture series and P.C.Tulsian sir' s book is very good for self study

CA P C Tulsina for self study along with the following:

1. Saxena and Vishist

2. Institute compilations

3. videos for more clarity either youtube or other.

Sanjay aggarWal sir book is for those take coaching from them..his notes + book is very good if u took coaching or refer his videos,

P C tulsian sir book is very good for self study but self studying in costing is very difficult specially OR

Padhuka is considered good because its like a compiler and lately institute has been asking questions of RTP ( past RTP) which are covered in this book...

Undoubtly Sanjay Aggarwal Sir Is One Of The Best Faculty For CA FINAL Advanced Managament Accounting But His Book Can Be Fruitful To You If You Took Any Coaching Classes.

In My Opinion , For Self Study Purpose You Should Go For SAXENA & VASHISHT Along With ICAI Modules.That'll Be More Than Enough.

Remember Refering More Than Two Books(ICAI Modules+1Reference Book Of Your Choice) in Costing Is SUICIDE.
