Book for financial reporting ?

Dear Yogesh, in my view MPV is very fine for conceptual clarity, but due to its volume you are getting tough. However many books will cover same examples which are in institute study material. so my advice is to go through with the concept with MPV and follow problems with other book, like practice manual, previous RTPs, and books given by good coaching institutes......

You will have to clear about the topics in CA Final .

Amalgamation you would have learnt to a great extent in the CA PCC level only. - 14 marks

Accounting Standards about 30 marks which you can study from the bare standards.

Balance is Valuation for which MPV book is sufficient

Consolidation and other matters will yield you the other marks.

Other matters like VAS, EVA, MVA,Guidance Notes.etc comes arround 20 Marks min
