Thanks for the info

They should atleast say what would be enough to prove indian citizen. I used to think that documents are more important than human beings, but now even documents are not important.

The court's decision is based on the merit of the case.  In the national interest courts are justified in delivering such verdicts. The honorable court has elaborated the issue and we should not infer the meaning of the judgement by a fractionl reading. It should be considered in toto and in reference to the issue involved.

.

One should even welcome the judgement which clarifies and strengthens the definition of Indian Citizenship.

The decision is based on law of the land and has to be respected.

The question here is about authenticity.

The above documents mentioned, which are authenticated by Government of India itself, are recognised as insufficient by government of india to prove the citizenship of an individual. What other documents will they trust if they do not trust the authenticity of the documents issued by themselves?
