Big 4 - Do they create a Better CA ? A Big Question ? Part 2

So friends the time has finally came to introduce the part 2 of my series " BIG 4'S - Do they create a Better CA ?  A Big QUESTION (2) ".

I Know that you all were very curious for this part.

In the last part we discussed regarding Why should we choose Big 4 for our Articleship. 

And in this part we will be discussing the negative part of being in BIG 4'S. And i will give an answer to each negative part.

So lets go for it my friends -

1. No personal Life -

So friends as said by all of you there remains no personal life for an article of Big 4'S. You wont believe that i start up 7 in the morning and reach home at around 11 or 12 depending upon the situation. But the thing is it was my personal choice to prefer BIG 4 over Medium sized firms.

I will like to clear to all of you that one of my friend working in medium firm also follows the same routine. So make a decesion very carefully.

2. One Field knowledge -

Friends I will agree to all of you regarding the above mentioned point. The most serious dis advantage of being in Big 4's is that you become specialised in only 1 particular department. Either in Tax, audit, etc.Some of the employees of BIG 4 dont even no how to file their return.

But, i will like to clear all of you that E&Y has started a program as per which all the articles of EY  will be allowed to shift to another department for a period of 6 months so that he gets knowledge of other field also.

3. Excessive pressure -

Friends the pressure is so much on all the interns that we feel woried about our studies. They have no sypamthy for us and inspite of working so hard still we get to know that " Kuch to kaam kar liya karo". And at point of time we feel like killing our seniours.

We have no time to study.

Ans to this will be in short - " Sanchi Aggarwal was the ca final Rank 1 and she was from EY. " Point to be taken into consideration ".

4. No time for classes - 

Friends this is the part every single student is worried about. I wont that they dont provide but they provide for few classes only. And i will say " Everyone is not brilliant ". 

The answer to this will depend upon person to person  means will depend upon the will power of an student.

5. High Politics -

Friends politics in BIG 4 is to a high level. No one can stop it. everyone is running for a promotion by b*tching about others.

What i have observed is " you cant survive in BIG 4  without politics. 

So friends i have showed you all both the sides of the Coin. Now no one can say to me that i being in BIG 4 has showen only the positives of BIG 4'S.

Now you all can decide can wheather to join BIG 4 or not.
