Best Book For Direct Tax - CA Final

As per my suggestion:

For Direct Tax Theory:  You should go for TN Manoharan or Girish Ahuja.

For Direct Tax Practicals: You should go for VK Singhania.

Hi shailesh...

First of all, let me tell u about singhania, as i used it in PCC... This is ultimate book for CA profession.. I mean, u cant find any other book as best as this one... But the only problem is that it clears every concept in a detailed form, wether its required or not... So, if anyone has lot of time and expertise in DIRECT TAX, from profession point of view.., then V K S is the only option...

But, from exam point of view or from CA STUDY point of view, i consider MANOHARAN & PADHUKA as utmost books,. As they know what and how much is required for a student to study and learn . Proper examples, practice, and theory topics are covered...

VG sir's DT modules are fantastic. But you can fully utilise them after attending his classes. This is my thinking. However for your record and reference purpose arrange them. There is no harm in it.

Yar you should refer Vinod Gupta Module . Its past exam question & solution is too good for our best reading you know...

In my Point of View T.N.Manoharan Sir's book is ultimate. Actually when i prepared for my CA Final Exams, i didnt attend the classes for DT. With the help of his book only i cleared the DT. The speciality of the book is, the provisions will be explained in detail in each of the chapters, at the back of the chapters Questions asked in CA exams with solutions will be there. So after reading the provisions if we able to answer the questions at the back of the chapter in a right way then our understanding is good otherwise again we have to go back to read the provisions. This is my way of preparation while i was studying for CA final.

I REFER U VINOD GUPTA NOTES IF U HAVE LESS TIME AND VK SINGHANIA IF U HAVE MORE TIME

IN TN MANOHARAN MANY MISTAKES ARE THERE (BCOZ I HAVE STUDIED FROM THAT)

LOOK PADUKA IS ALSO A GOOD BOOK ... IT CONTAINES THE SUMMARY OF SECTION AND LATEST AMENDMENTS WITH CLARIFICATION

The selection of the books depends upon the time availability. if the less time is with you, then, you can adopt padhuka or TN manoharan.

If you have good time with you for your preparation, then, you can opt  for Singhania.

TN manoharan or Padhuka is concise and more than enough for covering for our exam within a short period of time.

There is less number of problem as compared to the PCC stages is concerned. All the three books are nice and good.

Selection of the books should be depends upon your target to the paper. For scoring more than 60 plus, you can go ahead with this books
 

just go for V. Gupta module. it will give u definetly good result
