hi according to institute new annoucement for may 2007,the chartered accountants (amendment)2006 is not applicable but for prorfessional ethics the act 2006 is applicable..so the phrase is bit confusing can anybody clarify......
I think since the time is less the best way to read is as follows:
Prepare Professional ethics (completely) Cover Company Audit then Bank Audit & then Insurance Audit
I think this will give u around 50 marks in the Question paper Then AAS & AS thereby additioanl 10-15 Thereby u will b able to attend 60-70 marks
Note Dont refer so many books at this point of time. Take any book which u think is ok for "U". Because everybidy has a different taste and techniques of preparing..
dear friend, You have not mentioned the level in which you have to face the examination. it means if you are going 4 PE II level, i think the study of the institute is well enough. For Final level also, study is the best becoz institute has provided a book on this separately. if u r in pe2 my suggesstion is to go for the first four chapters of the study thouroughly. Because almost all the AAS have been covered precisely there. you need not to learn all the AAS but few of them like AAS 5,6,13 etc which are normally used in every business. u should have only the basic idae abuot them.
