HI friends,
Pls help me to calculate my articleship extension Period, i'm very confused about it. I have an attempt on May 14 and wants to go for Leave from 2nd december 2013, i joined articleship on 23/05/2011 and taken leave of 61 days till date.

As institute allows 180 days leaves as u said u have taken approx 60 days leave i.e u have 120 days [4 months] totally u need 6 months leave so 2 months period is extra u can ask your ca for favour or extend it for 2 months
ICAI allows leave of 1/6th of the period you have worked i.e.(Total Days-Leaves)/6.It comes about 156 Days.So you Have 95 Days leave left.
