Articleship & final attempt query

Hi everbody,

Please resolve my query & Thanks in advance.

query: As per ICAI, a student gets CA Final attempt on completion of 2 1/2 years as on 1st date of the November or MAY Whichever is applicable from the date of Articleship registration.

Date of articles registration: 30-04-2012
date of termination of articleship: 27-04-2013, period served: 11M 28D

Date of Re-registration: 25-05-2013
Period gap between termination & re registration: 28 days (<1 Month)
Date of Completion of 3 Year articleship: 27-5-2015, Period till 27-5-2013: 3 Years

1) 2 1/2 years of articleship 

From 30-04-2012 + 2Y 6M = 30-10-2014 i.e., eligible for Nov 2014 attempt(2 1/2 years completed till Nov 1 2014).

OR

2) 2 1/2 years of articleship

period served till 27-04-2013: 11M 28D

Balance period for 2Y 6M = 2Y 6M - 11M 28D = 1Y 6M 2D

Period for 2 1/2 Years of Articleship = re registration date + 1Y 6M 2D
= 25-05-2013 + 1Y 6M 2D
= 27-11-203
(as on Nov 1 2014, 2 1/2 Years of articleship not completed) i.e., eligible for May, 2015 attempt

So as per option 1, whether i have to Consider option 1 by neglecting the 28 Days(Period gap between termination & re registration) period of GAP & assume that ia eligible for Nov 2014 attemt 

                                                                     OR

As per option 2, by having considered the 28 Days(Period gap between termination & re registration) period of GAP & assume that Iam eligible or MAY, 2015 attempt?
