11 May 2021I received the LIC OF INDIA wage revision arrears from 08.2017 to 03.2021 in April 2021is it possible to claim relief from arrears under section 89(1)by 10E .when I have to claim the relief ie in AY 2021-22 or in AY 2022-23. And also I received cash medical benefit for the above periods along with arrears what is the effect of it in tax.please clarify.

Thank you sir. But the arrears received in the month of 04.2021. shall I claim the relief from ,FY 2017-18 .in my office officer is telling that to get relief under sec 89(1) permission from it authorities or from finance ministry needed.is it correct.
