Rule 8 of Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2016 gives power to the Central Government to approve certain names which is considered undesirable. Circular 2/2014 date 11th February,2014 lays down the criteria for a Company to use the following words:
1. National- Government Companies is which the Central and State have stake
2. Bank – After obtaining No Objection Certificate from RBI
3. Stock Exchange/Exchange -After obtaining No objection Certificate from SEBI
For the notification please refer free to use website www.ca2013.com which provides integrated and real-time view of the Companies Act,2013
