I have qualfied as a C.S in 2002 and would like to sign the balance sheet for the company I am employed with.The company has a paid up capital above 2 crores and below 5 crores.At present I do not have a membership number.I would request you to advise if a membership as an associate would be a requirement for signing the Balance sheet in capacity as a company secretary.
Further to become a associate memeber,would there be an exemption of undergoing training requirements considering that I have experience of 8 years in the telecom industry as a C.A.

You cannot sign Balance Sheet without having Membership Number. Consult Institute regarding exemption rules for training
