Hello friends

I want to share my problem wid u . I hope u can understand it. In may attempt i had cleared my ipcc. I had passed my ipcc exam in one attempt. Basically i am from maths background. After completing 2 years of my engineering i had left it and opt for ca. Now a days i am very much depressed. the reason is that i am 23 years old and when i see in my coaching classes students of  18-19 years old also preparing with me than i feel shamed and also my friends who were in engineering colleges now placed with good packages. If i will cleared my finals in one attempt than i also o will complete my ca at the age of 26 years...........thinking all this nowdays i am not able to concentrate on my studies.......please advise me.......

Hello Anuj..

You cleared your IPCC exams in first attempt although you come from a non-commerce background.. that shows that you have great aptitude for the CA..

You know there are many students who have been giving ipcc exams from the time they were 18-19 and still won't have cleared it though they would be 23-24 years old.. They would very happily take your place if given a chance..

So Value your knowledge, your aptitude... and you know it even takes a lot of courage to leave engineering to do something that you like.. So whether you value or not many here will value your courage..

As for the comparison with your fellow engineering students i would just quote the words

"Did you ever see an unhappy horse?

Did you ever see the birds who had the blues?

one reason why birds and horses

Are not unhappy is because they are not

Trying to please other birds and horses.."

huh! .. as if any one cares ur age ??? .. relax dude... this is a professional course and u will find ppl from different age groups studying with u every time. So wen u go 4 final coaching u will find many students r very elder 2u (may b they have join late ur were unable to clear pcc/ipcc on time). and regarding ur earlier background.. then after becoming a CA u will get double respect and remuneration of wat ur friends r getting. so concentrate now wat ur doing or else u will waste ur presesnt and in future u will be more cursing urself of doing nothing. so just chill ! DO NOT THINK ABOUT THE PAST, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE.. THE THINGS OF PAST HAVE DIED AND THE FUTURE HAS NOT ARRIVED. :)

i am 25 years old i studied 3 years of engineering and written ipcc this time
who will bother for your age now?  growing old is mandatory but growing wise is optional, after few years you will be earning more than your damn friends

U seen only the age group of  18-19 years old, there are number of hidden persons who are around 25-30 age who are pursuing IPCC still now. You have to concentrate on the present you clear CA Final in first shout then you also placed with good packages then what ur friends are getting.......

Hay cheer up Anuj, your age doesn't matters for studying any course, so start to concentrating on your studies and don't get disturbed by comparing yourself with your friends and fellow mates. Because, "A person gets respect in society not merely by his age, instead he is more respected for his knowledge and studies". So remove negative thoughts from your mind and do well in your work and studies. All the best.

 hi anuj...

i m agree with my all above frnds. you should not think abt yur age, its gd  that u passed ur ipcc in first attempt nothwithstanding yu r not from commerce background, and i also advice yu that dont more think about packages. bcz after clearing uyr final u realise that ur decision was good . i m also doing articleship in deloitte and working with  one of my colliuge who left there BPO jobwhere he earned 2o thousands rs. he is now 23 yrs and clear there  PII  exam last nov. so yu never think abt yur age and packages and focus only yur studies and trinning.........

                                                       .................... BEST OF LUCK........
