Dear Sir,

I am IPCC cleared student and I want to register to CS course.

I want to know whether there is any exemption for IPCC passed Students.

You can directly register for CS Executive as CA-CPT passed students are exempted from CS Foundation.

You will get the following exemptions:

--No need to write CS foundation , you can directly register for CS executive.(under new syllabus-7 subjects)

--You need not attend Compulsary Computer Training(itt) classes, you just have to write an online exam(compulsary before writing CS executive exams).

No there is no exemption for IPCC passed student.

The admission to Company Secretaries (CS) Foundation Programme for December 2013 is over.

The 10+2 pass students seeking admission till 31st March, 2013 will be eligible for examination in December 2013.

Students of any stream- Arts / Science / Commerce (excluding Fine Arts) can pursue the CS Foundation Programme conducted by the ICSI.

Students appearing in 10+2 or its equivalent can also seek provisional admission to the CS Foundation Programme. CS helpline is available on telephone No. 011 – 41504444, 45341076 and 45341077 (Delhi).

Students can also register online at www.icsi.edu

Prospectus and application form for CS Foundation Programme is available on cash payment of Rs. 500 from (Noida Office) C-37, Sector-62, Noida and Headquarters: ICSI House, 22 Institutional Area, Lodi Road New Delhi or from ICSI-NIRC Building, Plot No. 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, Rajendra Place, New Delhi.

The prospectus can also be had by registered post by sending a Demand Draft / Postal Order for Rs. 540 favouring ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India’ payable at New Delhi through any of the 74 offices of the ICSI spread all over India (including one oversees Chapter at Dubai) .

The ICSI is a premier national professional board established under an Act of Parliament (The Company Secretaries Act, 1980) and imparts compulsory postal tuition (by correspondence) along with provision for optional oral coaching classes. Admission to the CS course is open throughout the year. After qualifying the CS Foundation Programme, students are required to clear the Executive and Professional Programme and undergo rigorous Management and Executive Development and Training to become qualified Company Secretaries, release concluded.

Sir I have already registered for CS executive and I got exemption in CS foundation, This notification was released very recently I have got this from ICSI website. Please let me know if there is any withdrawal of this notification or issue of any other notification regarding cancellation of exemption previously granted.

Sorry I missed this notification. However as per specific words of said notification passing of CPT exam is the criteria for direct admission in CS executive. It seems an IPCC cleared student can directly take admission into CS executive course.
