Additional place of business-gst

Dear All,

Is disclosing additional place of business in GST Registration mandated?. 

Say if i have my business in 3 states having 15 branches in each state and I choose one Primary branch and register in all 3 states with out mentioning additional 15 locations. will it be a problem for me? will GST department deny my input credit for those additional branches?

please clarify.
