If a private co. appoint the additional director. is it neccessary to change the designation in annual general meeting. can be change before annual general meeting. plz give suggestion with section

you can regularise the directors through the egm also there is no need to wait for the same till AGM as the law says we need to regularise the director's till the due date of agm and that can be done in general meeting refer section 257.

Totally agree with Ashwin. No need to wait till AGM.
You may regularise him in the EGM but before AGM.
