Associate company means a company in which another company has a significant influence, but which is not a subsidiary company of the company having such influence and includes a joint venture company.
I am not taking about company..mam..
Even on individual level it means same
how they will file..there income.under return..
May be they might be registered as firm so ITR 3 for business & profession
