This thought , I'm afarid, will be pronounced again by some other Sanjay Gupta in future having the same humane qualities as yours. How unfortunately pre-destined we are to witness what Irving Goffman, in a completely different situation, described as "Civil ignorance ".

As Rabindranath Tagore said, both the perpetrator and the one who tolerates such act of perpetraion are equally guilty.

Resham has also aptly remarked that the term 'good human being' is not necessarily synonymous with  'silent human being'.

How many lives could have been saved if only we,the gentlemen-the indifferent onlookers of the society, could raise our voice at an appropriate time!

If this 1st line is from my immortal creation glowing above, Renuji, then I owe you an explanation . It goes like this : Sanjayji is among a very chosen few who feels this way. Hence, he has humane qualities.

No matter how civilised and refined we become, there will always be people who would prefer silence and inaction to protest and action. At that time another person, female or male, having qualities as humane as that of Sanjayji would utter such penetrating lines again.
