We have filed ITR -4 within due date stating books of Accounts not maintained. But Intimation received from CPC for Defective return and to fill all particulars for B/s & P& L A/c, but we replied regarding Non-acceptance of Intimation, as we have filed Return stating Books of A/c not maintained cases. But 3 months completed no further intimation received from CPC nor Return processed till date. What to do ? or Return needs to be revised ??

28 January 2017 Login to E filing site and check the status of your return. In case return is rejected file it again as original belated return.
If you opt for 44AD and declare 8% profit in the return then only you can select no ac case.

28 January 2017 Dear Sir,

No information about rejected ITR is showing on e-filing website. Whether we should wait for reply from CPC or revise the ITR by filling required particulars of B/s & P& L A/c ?? As 3 months elapsed from filing reply against Defective Return notice.

28 January 2017 File revised return with B/s and P&L ac. If revised return is not accepted your earlier filed return might have been rejected. File it as original return again.
