About me

I am a very senior level Officer of the Income-tax department, having served the department in different capacities for more than 35 years. well versed in taxation law and I am in practice of tax law as a consultant and a tax advocate in all appellate forums actively. I also render lectures on important issues on law, particularly Intrernational Law, Mohammadan law and Law of Torts. I am also a journalist and subscribe articles in different english magazines.

    What kinds of questions I can and can't answer?
    Any query on taxation law, including personal law.

    Had been an assessisng Offaicer in the Income-tax department for more than 20 years.

    My experience in the area (years):
    Served the Income-tax department in different capacities under the CBDT for more than 35 years. I continue to address lectures on different topics in the departmental academy even now.

    Organizations I belong to:
    Tax audit firm at Chennai.

    Publications or writing which has appeared :
    I have a separate blog. Pl. also view spauditing.com wherein I an advisor on Intrernationala taxation.

    Educational credentials:
    Degree in Commerce and Law besides Journalism.

    A number of rewards were earned whiele I was in service of the Income-tax department.

    Thanks for your reply but in this case foreign tour sponsored by the seed selling MNC is to the individual directaly scientist and not to the university . Is it taxable to the scientist of the university. and what will be the provision If it is paid in the shape of reimbursement by the MNC
