Did u send me a PM two days back regarding holding of dual IEC number. Answer is, if an IEC holder doesn't wish to operate allotted IEC number,he may surrender same by informing issuing authority. On receipt of such intimation,issuing authority shall immediately cancel it and electronically transmit it to DGFT & customs authorities. Now, only one IEC would be allotted/issued against a single PAN.
