DEEPAK DABRAL says : TDS on Perishable Food Items.
Dear Sir/Madam I have a client who gave rent to cold storage owner and since TDS was applicable under section 194C I provided same. But he said that other firms are not deducting tds because they are showing this as "PRESERVATION EXPENSES" my querry is this can we escape from TDS provision by merely showing this as preservation expenses of perishable Items. Please Suggest..
