The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the examination schedule for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Courses for the September 2025 session. As per the announcement released on May 30, 2025, the exams will be conducted across India and select overseas centres, subject to sufficient candidature at each location.
Examination Schedule
Final Course (New Scheme)
- Group I: 3rd, 6th & 8th September 2025
- Group II: 10th, 12th & 14th September 2025
Intermediate Course (New Scheme)
- Group I: 4th, 7th & 9th September 2025
- Group II: 11th, 13th & 15th September 2025
Foundation Course

Dates: 16th, 18th, 20th & 22nd September 2025
Note: No exams will be conducted on 5th September 2025 (Friday) due to Milad-un-Nabi, a gazetted central government holiday.
Exam Timings (IST)
Foundation:
- Papers 1 & 2: 2 PM to 5 PM
- Papers 3 & 4: 2 PM to 4 PM (No advance reading time)
Intermediate & Final (except Final Paper 6): 2 PM to 5 PM
Final Paper 6: 2 PM to 6 PM
Advance reading time of 15 minutes (from 1:45 PM to 2 PM IST) will be provided for all papers, except for MCQ-based and Foundation Papers 3 & 4.
Examination Centres
ICAI will conduct the exams in over 290 cities across India and 9 overseas centres, including:
- Abu Dhabi
- Bahrain
- Thimphu (Bhutan)
- Doha
- Dubai
- Kathmandu (Nepal)
- Kuwait
- Muscat
- Riyadh (KSA)
Exam timings will be adjusted according to local time zones to align with IST timings.

- Start Date: 5th July 2025 (Saturday)
- Last Date (Without Late Fee): 18th July 2025 (Friday)
- Last Date (With Late Fee of ₹600 / $10): 21st July 2025 (Monday)
- Correction Window (for City/Medium Changes): 22nd to 24th July 2025

Examination Fees
Foundation Course:
- Indian Centres: ₹1500
- Overseas Centres: $325
- Bhutan/Kathmandu: ₹2200
Intermediate Course:
- Single Group: ₹1500 (India), $325 (Abroad), ₹2200 (Bhutan/Kathmandu)
- Both Groups: ₹2700 (India), $500 (Abroad), ₹3400 (Bhutan/Kathmandu)
Final Course:
- Single Group: ₹1800 (India), $325 (Abroad), ₹2200 (Bhutan/Kathmandu)
- Both Groups: ₹3300 (India), $550 (Abroad), ₹4000 (Bhutan/Kathmandu)
Medium of Answer
Candidates may opt to write their answers in English or Hindi, except in the case of language-specific papers.
