New Regional Directorates of The Ministry of Corporate Affairs
The Government proposes to set up two new Regional Directorates of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Giving this information in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, the Minister for Corporate Affairs, Shri Salman Khurshid, informed the House that one Regional Directorate would be set up in the North Western Region in Gujarat (Ahmedabad) and the other in the North Eastern Region in Assam (Guwahati). Various factors such as accessibility of the office, development of the area, geographical location, number of corporate entities, potential for growth, etc., have been taken into consideration while deciding to open the new offices.
