The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued Notification G.S.R. 255(E) dated April 26, 2024. This notification pertains to the establishment of the Appellate Authority for Chartered Accountants (CAs), Company Secretaries (CSs) and Cost Accountants.
Under the leadership of Shri Justice Suresh Kumar Gupta, the newly constituted Appellate Authority is poised to play a pivotal role in upholding professional standards and resolving disputes within the domain of financial governance.
Joining Shri Justice Suresh Kumar Gupta are esteemed members Shri Rakesh Mohan and Shri Sandip Garg. Their wealth of experience and expertise is expected to enrich the functioning of the Appellate Authority, ensuring fairness and transparency in its adjudicative processes.
Furthermore, the notification designates Shri Amit Anand Apte as a Member under the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959. His appointment underscores the government's commitment to harnessing specialized talent and promoting excellence in the realm of cost accountancy.
