ICAI to organize diamond jubilee celebration

On 1st July, 2008, the Indian Chartered Accountancy Profession would enter its 60th year of existence and coinciding with this occasion, the period 1st July, 2008 till 1st July, 2009 will be celebrated for the Diamond Jubilee Year celebrations. 1st July is the day which has a special mile stone for the profession with the Chartered Accountants Act having been brought into being by the Parliament of India in 1949. Every 1st July, the ICAI holds many events nationally to ponder and introspect the way the profession should be responding to the challenging times.
