The main goal is to strengthen India's capabilities in combating financial fraud and cybercrime through enhanced education and collaboration with national security institutions.

ICAI has entered into an MoU with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and renewed its MoU with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU).

The collaboration will focus on co-developing educational content, joint certifications, and workshops in areas such as Forensic Accounting, Cybersecurity, Systems Audit, Blockchain, Big Data, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

ICAI plans to offer specialised training to enforcement and regulatory agencies, covering topics like interpreting financial statements and spotting financial red flags, to enhance their investigative depth.

ICAI has already trained and certified over 35,000 Chartered Accountants in Information Systems Audit (ISA) and 15,000 in Forensic Accounting, and it is the first and only accounting body globally to issue Forensic Accounting and Investigation Standards (FAIS).
