We wish to clarify to the members, students and other readers of The Chartered Accountant journal that the cover page of the June 2015 issue of the journal is a mere artistic depiction of the ICAI’s global role in inclusive growth of the profession as stated in the caption on the cover page. The global political map, including India’s map also was aimed to be only an artistic representation of India and in no manner depicts the exact maps. Perceived deviation, if any from the exact political map of India was purely unintentional. However, if the depiction of Indian map in any manner is perceived as not in conformity with political map of India and has hurt the sentiments of any reader, we at ICAI deeply regret the same with the commitment to be more careful in future.
