The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Dr. Arvind Subramanian as Chief Economic Adviser for a period of 3 years on contract basis, in the pay scale of Rs. 80000/- (fixed) from the date of appointment or till superannuation, whichever is earlier. Dr. Arvind Subra
