The DPIIT is setting up a control room to monitor and address issues related to the internal trade, manufacturing, delivery, and logistics of essential commodities during the Covid pandemic.
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is responsible for this monitoring.
Difficulties in manufacturing, transportation, distribution, wholesale, or e-commerce operations related to essential commodities can be reported.
You can report issues by calling telephone numbers (011) 23062383 or 23062975, or by emailing dpiit-controlroom@gov.in.
The control room telephone numbers will be functional from 8 AM to 10 PM, starting from April 24th, 2021.
Issues reported through the control room will be taken up with the concerned State or Union Territory governments for resolution.
