IRC is engaged in the online business-to-consumer (B2C) sale of food and grocery, household products, and personal and beauty care products in India, operating the website www.bigbasket.com and related mobile applications.
The proposed combination involves Tata Digital acquiring a majority stake and control over SGS, and subsequently, SGS may acquire sole control over Innovative Retail Concepts (IRC).
