Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, during the Halwa Ceremony on 23rd January 2021 launched the Union Budget Mobile App for hassle-free access of Budget documents by Members of Parliament (MPs) and the general public, using the simplest form of digital convenience.

13th Instalment of Rs.6,000 crore released to the States to meet the GST compensation shortfall

A total amount of Rs.78,000 crore released so far to all States and UTs with the legislature. This is in addition to additional borrowing permission of Rs. 1,06,830 crore granted to the States.
