EPFO adds 14.65 lakh net subscribers in July, an increase of 31.28% over June

ICAI Aligns the Time Limit of Generating UDIN from 15 days to 60 days

The Council of ICAI in its 405th meeting held on 17th September 2021 has decided that the time limit of generating UDIN would be 60 days from the date of the signing of certificates/reports/document instead of 15 days henceforth.

Grant of Rs. 2427 crore released to States for Urban Local Bodies

The States are required to transfer the grants to the ULBs within 10 working days of receipt from the Union Government. Any delay beyond 10 working days requires the State Governments to release the grants with interest.

Central Government relaxes provisions of TDS u/s 194A of the Income-tax Act, 1961 in view of section of 10(26) of the Act

No deduction of tax shall be made on payment u/s 194A, namely payment in the nature of interest, other than interest on securities, made by a Scheduled Bank located in a specified area to a member of Scheduled Tribe residing in any specified area.
