CBDT further extends the due dates for electronic filing of certain forms

On consideration of difficulties reported by the taxpayers and other stakeholders in the electronic filing of certain Forms, CBDT has decided to further extend the due dates for electronic filing of such Forms vide Circular No.15/2021 dated 03.08.2021.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the digital payment solution e-RUPI, a person and purpose specific digital payment solution, on 2nd August 2021 via video conference. e-RUPI is a cashless and contactless instrument for digital payment.

8 resolved, 65 settled/withdrawn and 23 ordered for liquidation in insolvency cases under IBC in real estate sector

212 applications pertaining to the real estate sector were admitted for the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Plan under the IBC. 8 cases out of these were resolved, 65 cases have been settled or withdrawn and 23 cases were ordered for liquidation.

More than 6.80 crore loans of Rs. 5.20 lakh crore extended to New Entrepreneurs/Accounts under PMMY

Entrepreneurs availed over 29.55 crore loans of Rs. 15.52 lakh crore under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana since 2015. For the current financial year, a target of sanction of Rs. 3.00 lakh crore has been fixed for MLIs.

CBIC does away with expiry/renewal of Authorised Economic Operator certification after every three years for AEO-T1 entities

It has been decided by CBIC that w.e.f. 1st August 2021, all AEO-T1 entities certified on or after 01.04.2019, shall be auto renewed in the system, without any end date.
