CA Exams 2021: ICAI modifies Opt Out Criteria after Supreme Court's Order
01 July 2021 at 20:56Any candidate who personally or whose family member has been affected by COVID-19 and as a result of which, the candidate is unable to appear for the exams, can avail the Opt Out facility. In this case, no RT-PCR Report shall be required.

29 June 2021 at 18:01ICAI has extended the Opt Out Facility to candidates who have recently suffered from COVID-19 or are yet to recover from the after effects of COVID-19. Moreover, opt out has also been given to students whose examination centres have been changed by ICAI.

29 June 2021 at 16:19Justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Aniruddha Bose on 29.06.2021 confirmed that it will not pass any directions to ICAI to postpone the July 2021 CA Exams. The court will take a decision on the student's plea regarding opt out on 30.06.2021.
