ICAI says :-

The candidates are advised, in their own interest to ensure that working notes should form part of the answer/s.

is working notes requires to be givren in exams?is that compulsory?i never gave working notes in pcc exam...teachers also say working notes should be given...i hate it because calculation working notes mein and main solution mein sirf answer,,..so i hate it,,..plz tell me is that compulsory?and please give me rough idea of how do i give working note and main solution in exam?

I think without working notes we can do all calculations in main solution in brackets...

Dear Ekta,

yes working notes are necessary...infact, they are not just calculations, but they carry marks also...if you do not give the working notes, you may end up losing marks...

Without Working note how u explain the answer and proper reply for question. you have explain in details and proper steps for answer so that you can got the full marks.. very simple steps also give in working note. how that figures are coming and whats your views and how u calculated and so on,,,

The point in showing working notes is that you are conveying to the examiner that you know the solution. Hence, working notes shall form part of answers.

Ekta if you want to score then make working papers in such a way that they form part of your main answer.

Ekta...if you prepare working notes you will get marks for every concept you have applied correctly...so even if your final answer is wrong you will get marks based on your approach. so always try and present answers in a logical manner...so even if you make silly mistake...the examiner knows that you have understood the subject well and can score good marks....all the best...tc.
