we are polish job worker.at present we are in negative list .so there is no tax. so what
will be our compliance under gst.

we do polish on stainless steel utensils for other co. at present there is no tax. so will gst applicable for this process. if yes,at what rate?

the co for which we are doing job work is registered tax paying co.

sir, an article of CA chitresh Gupta up loaded on 3.3.17 on job work says that there will no gst charge under section 55 complaince. so kindly reconfirm.

Section 55 which you have mentioned is of model gst law issued by gst council in november 2016. Now amended bills were passed in the Act.( This was just for clarification)
The provisions of model gst law and the act are more or less the same that job worker will not be taxable for supplies of goods on which he has worked BUT he will be liable to pay gst on job charges which he will charge from principal manufacturer.

. what is the rate of GST applicable on our job and the value to be considered for such work

@ CA Neha : Whether we can send the goods for jobwork to unregistered jobworker out of the state without IGST tax ?
whether we can send goods for jobwork to registered jobworker out of the state without IGST tax?
Can we send goods outside the state to our own branch which is registered in that state for jobwork without charging IGST as this is not stock transfer but goods are sent for jobwork ?
Please clarify. Thanks.
