My doubt is will the New Companies Bill 2012 be applicable for CA Final May 14 exams. What about the reference books i.e when likely can the books be released? Also when can we expect new edition of Manaharan Book for May 14 exams.

Sir, no one can give you a definitive answer on this topic except the Parliament. The bill is not yet passed by the Rajya sabha, so it will not be wise to make guesses.
As per the recent happening of events, we find that the Companies Bill 2012 has passed from the Lok Sabha...there has been no news regarding any movement in the Rajya Sabha..After it gets passed in Rajya Sabha and gets other approval then only would it become applicable..wait for the updates..above all refer the Newspapers as maximum update regarding this matter would be known there...also the respective institutes would also inform you regarding its applicability if such major changes take place.
Actually i wanted To start off with Law prep... So if i atleast had the slightest idea that syllabus might change, i can start off woth other subjects. Thats why...
