Will a ca firm hire me?

No CA firm would hire you unless u hav cleared Bcom. But if u clear IPCC u can easily go for articleship as Bcom wont matter then. U can never get a job without clearing Bcom or IPCC. 

It really depends .. nothing harm in trying with a small firm where you can work for a few hours and get paid accordingly

so will i be able to do articleship while i'm still in du doing b.com?

Your prob is really complicated and it does not hv easy answers.... why not make the problem itself easy??

if  CA is your primary goal then why go for regular graduation course? Instead target to clear IPCC in first attempt and do B.com by distance?

by doing so you can try for articleship in a good firm and persue ur B.com too... there will be no need for a part time job too!

Once u join CA, Bcom becomes nothing. So ensure u clear CPT and IPCC. Dont join DU. Join articleship and then register for Bcom (distance) in IGNOU/Bhartiyar etc with which ICAI has MOU..u will get exemption in most of the subjects...Bcom will be a cakewalk....Pursuing Bcom if u join articles u hv to submit some extra form 112, extra leave for exams, Bcom and IPCC getting clashed n stuff...

my family has already made the decision that i am to join DU and i've tried everything but they simply won't listen. But i'm really eager to start earning as soon as possible. More than earning its about learning....both career oriented and life oriented. So you can see my problem...

As I menioned earlier its bit complicated!! since here is clash of priority between what you want and what your family want.... so try to strike a balance here so that the interests of both of you are served!!

is medium size ca firms accept transfer cases articles (transfer is within 1 year)
