why we dont deduct tds on goods??
can you please explain why TDS is deducted on service and not on purchase of goods?

I want to know why we don't deduct TDS on Purchases of goods.?
Hi,
Under GST Act, Provision of TDS is applicable on taxable value of supply irrespective of whether it is a goods or service.
But currently the provision of TDS under GST is under suspension and receiver is not liable to deduct the TDS on any supply.
