Why bias checking...???

Hey guys.. I called d answersheet of law paper.. as I was expecting for exemption but I scored only 40 marks in it... I wrote every answer corect & compared wid d gal who scored 75 in d same paper.. we both were classmates..used same notes.. same format of writing answers... but she scored 75 & I 40...:-( I dnt knw how d hell ICAI checks d paper...? the valutor even didnt gave any right ticksl on my paper but ticked each & every answer of her... & the worst part is even we cant object...:O

Valuator or checker doesnt knows its a copy of a girl or a boy, they get the key from institutes, n based on that only that check the answer books. & one more thing this tuff result is glorry of CA profession. Thats why we are valuated. So please dont blem any one n just give ypur 100%

Ankur.. M not blaming ny1.. I knw its d only so-called glory but wat abt those who r studying so hard... ?? This thing happened wid me so m saying & many other students face this... This is. Injustice... Nd wen did i said that its d matter of gal or boy... It hardly matters for ICAI... Nd m i saying this bcoz i had given my 100%..

I sympathize with your situation. No two examiners can be expected to give ditto marks for the same answerbook. However, the variation needs to be controlled to within, say, plus or minus 5 marks.

ICAI utterly fails to have consistency in answerbook evaluation.

Ok guys this is sad but the valuator has know way of knowing whether you're a he or a she so stop making baseless remarks. She worked hard too, she didn't get the marks by virtue of being a female! She and you probably had different valuators and your valuator might have been one of those who're really stingy with awarding marks. ICAI needs to set a standard for answers. If the answers are correct and the grammar and spelling are correct, full marks should be awarded because its not literature where the style of writing matters.
