AMA / Costing – J B Gupta  (BEST) plus Study Material, Compiler and Practice Manual (It is better to prepare your own notes for theory portion – Must cover theory given in Practice Manual).

ISCA – Manish Valechha (BEST) (Memory Based Edition)... it is the best-selling book for ISCA. Very well written with awesome presentation… comprehensive and easy to understand... It explains all topics with examples, diagrams, memory codes (refer Study Material if you have sufficient time but not actually required). And at last, go through Practice manual for important questions.

Direct Taxes - T.N. Manoharan Plus Summary Module of Vinod Gupta (Prepare notes for lengthy and typical portion, if possible). You can also refer Vinod Gupta Full Modules Set If you are having sufficient time for preparation.

Indirect Taxes – N S Govindan for Concepts (BEST) (Vineet Sodhani or Bangar for Practice and Past Exam Questions).

He is right....this is right book....
Here u will confuse more n more....u hv to decide ur carrier so start reading which best suits u
Referring practice manual along with ur coaching class notes is more suggested
Dont make it complicated. Just have a look which book will be good for u..I ll suggest da same which ratha lal had. AMA- Padhuka ISCA- Dinesh Madan DT- VG Modules ( Summary is very useful only for "Revision" ) IDT- Bangar ( The Best) Authors like JB guptaz solutions do not match or even similar in many cases with suggested answers. So Dont risk it. Decide at the earliest n start studying !
Cost .. practice manual isca... only practice manual.. take an overview frm study material dt.. vinod gupta n solve questions frm practice manual idt.. ca rajkumar eten and side by side solve questions from practice manual.. doin p.m. and r.t.p. ll boost ur confidence.
