Where can i get commodity code for wooden furniture

Wooden Furniture sold to any person other than government departments are taxable at 14.5% under Entry 69 of Part C of the First Schedule as unclassified item. Commodity Code will be 301.

Thanks Deepak for your details on furniture.At some where its mentioned unbranded furniture as 4 % and for branded its 14.5. Don't know what they mean branded and unbranded and how its classified.

Any idea on the tax for Handicraft items like wooden statues purchased from the supplier and then retail sale.

  Handicrafts are exempt from tax ,as per the first schedule.......mjk
