Dear Sir,

we are dealing in refining process of various type of minerals. In these process the formate of raw materials will remains same, and there are no any packing trademark or any addition in materials. After refining process the raw minerals can be reusable in industries.

My question is that for the purpose of excise are these process fall under manufacturing .

A process will be called manufacturing only if it results in a we product with different name, use & characteristics... Important thing which decides whether a particular process is manufacturing or not is that whether it results in a new product having different use & characteristics... In your case if refining minerals results in a new product distinguisly known in market it will amount to manufacture...
