What is gestation period?

Its the period of time between a business Idea or plan and its implementation. 

EXAMPLE: The time elapsed between when someone came up with the idea of Yahoo  and when it actually became a commercial website.

It is the period after which the return or investment starts or we can say its the period b/w the finishing of the project and selling of its product.And for a construction company the gestation well bro its totally depend upon us how quickly we can set up and start our sales.

The gestation period is equal to the amount of time spent in gestation. The period may not include an extra amount of time, depending on how it is calculated. The length of time required for gestation can differ wildly between species and even within a single species there may be some range.
