07 September 2019What are the options if Return is Invalidated for AY 17-18? is it ok to file under section 119(2)b? and how to send condonation of delay ? because i am not able to send it through service request.

1. According to sec 119(2)(b), condonation for the delay in filing IT returns will be allowed provided circumstances which are beyond the control of the assessee.
2. The time limit for filing application is 6 years from the end of the AY in which the return pertains.
3. If your claim is below Rs. 10 lakhs then the authority who can accept or reject the application will be Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Income-tax.
4. If it is possible to make a manual application you can do it. Again, every case is viewed based on case to case basis.
5. Acceptance or rejection of application is entirely based on the Income-tax officer.
Please correct me if the above solution has an alternative view.

Need opinion on both the below mention reasons:-
in case ITR V not sent to CPC and
nature of business code selected was wrong.
