A person received accumulated amount from pf and TDS is also reflected in 26as,then what such amount is taxable or not under INCOME TAX ?

Reporting in Income Tax Return (ITR)

  • If taxable: Show in the Salary schedule and “Other Sources” as applicable.

  • If exempt: Report under Exempt Income for disclosure; claim TDS refund if deducted.
