can we view the tax deduted by banks on interest on fdr etc or tax deducted by employer(central govt....) . i hav registered my pan with the nsdl but detail is not available there.

ya we can view tas deducted against our pan, but in cases where deductee has not filled etds return we couldn't see the tax credit until the deductee files etds return with proper details
for py 2007-08, 2008-09 no information is available on nsdl . i do not think banks or central govt who has deducted tax at source ,have not ifled the return.
